Film & entertainment / Marketing & strategy

JEAN Mc DOWELL

I’ve worked across studios, specialty, and indie, cross-functionally. A varied, demanding slate, and the range to contribute almost anywhere.
Positioning to release
Marketing & strategy across studios, specialty, and indie. Positioning, audience research, paid media, P&A, and digital, across the whole arc of a campaign. Adaptable by habit. Hands-on by preference.
01
About A wide-ranging film and entertainment career.
Los Angeles

Roughly 200 campaigns, a vast range of functions. The kind of range that adapts fast and plays well on a team.

I’ve held a lot of different roles across film and entertainment marketing, strategy, and research. The throughline isn’t a title, it’s range, and the adaptability that comes with it.

Campaigns from awards titles to franchise tentpoles, across positioning, 360 strategy, audience research, paid media, P&A, and digital.

I learn fast, I collaborate easily, and I’m genuinely happy doing the work, not just directing it.
